Timber Creek in Bothell offers a range of lifestyle amenities, including a 3,700-square-foot clubhouse and a junior Olympic-size pool.
BOTHELL — Timber Creek offers a range of lifestyle amenities, including a 3,700-square-foot clubhouse, a junior Olympic-size pool, and more than 50 acres of wooded open space with walking trails.
“It’s rare to have this many community benefits,” says Janet Truesdell, the community sales manager. “That’s what draws people to this unique neighborhood built by Toll Brothers. Right now, homeowners are using the clubhouse for holiday parties, baby showers, Seahawks parties and monthly homeowner get-togethers. In the summer, residents will be hosting community pool parties and barbecues, as well.”
Timber Creek’s nature loop trail is another draw for buyers, she says. “It’s right in your backyard and yet it feels like you are on a trail somewhere in the Cascades.”
Truesdell says homeowner dues for upkeep of the amenities are low in comparison to other communities. “Most people expect the dues to be at least $150 per month or more for a pool and clubhouse, so they are often surprised it’s only $85 per month [at Timber Creek].”
The community amenities are shared by Timber Creek’s three home collections: the Bungalows, the Carriages and the Signature.
The Bungalows are three-story homes with intricate rooflines and an abundance of windows. The Carriages feature homes with traditional exteriors and tucked-away garages. The Signature includes homes with landscaped yards.
Truesdell says potential homebuyers are encouraged to tour the model homes and explore the variety of available designs.
“One home in the Signature series, the Kingston, is currently under construction, and homebuyers are able to make an appointment to tour that home as well,” she says. “It’s 2,640 square feet; a four-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home with a great room and an impressive kitchen perfect for entertaining.”
Homebuyers can choose from two versions of the Kingston floor plan. The first incorporates a two-story living/dining area that is lined with windows for natural light. The second has more living space, including a bonus room that adds nearly 200 square feet to the home.
Buyers can personalize their homes with help from an interior designer at the builder’s design studio in Kirkland. The studio features an array of cabinet colors, flooring choices, hard surfaces and more.
“I love that our buyers are making choices that fit their personal style,” Truesdell says. “From the deco tiles that they select for their kitchens and baths, to the placement of lighting that highlights special art pieces or family photos, they really make their homes unique.”
Timber Creek is located near access to Interstates 405 and 5, which offers quick commutes to employment centers. It is served by the Northshore School District, including Fernwood Elementary School, Skyview Junior High School and North Creek High School, which opens in 2017.
“It’s been really amazing to see the families bond during community activities,” Truesdell says. “The new friendships that have been cultivated here are inspiring. It feels like a family.”
