SEATTLE — Sales continue at The Cove at Veridian in north Seattle, where nearly 85 percent of the community’s condominiums have sold.
“I am always pleasantly surprised by the many reasons homebuyers are attracted to our community,” says Jennifer Phillips, the sales director at The Cove at Veridian. “For some, it’s the friendly, eclectic neighborhood. Empty nesters are looking for no maintenance and plenty of amenities. And other young couples are looking for an affordable first home.”
The Cove at Veridian is located within blocks of an eclectic mix of shops, boutiques, cafés, bars and coffee shops on Greenwood Avenue North.
Homeowners have access via a private gate to adjacent Bitter Lake, which offers a convenient location for paddleboarding, fishing or enjoying a picnic. The Interurban Trail, a 25-mile bicycle route from downtown Seattle to Snohomish County, is also nearby.
“Buyers are smart, and I always encourage them to look around,” Phillips says. “Most come back after looking and tell me there aren’t better options. That’s why we have averaged two condominium sales a week for months. Prices now begin in the $170,000s for one-bedroom plans.”
A limited inventory of two-bedroom plans is available, she says.
Priced at $239,000, residence 8201 is a two-bedroom, 1.75-bath home with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a washer and dryer, a balcony and reserved parking. Two extra windows are included in the south-facing unit.
Single-level one-bedroom condominiums include plush carpeting, wood-laminate flooring, washer and dryer, and forced-air heating. Some homes feature a wood-burning fireplace.
All homes at The Cove at Veridian open up to landscaped courtyards and include a patio or balcony to expand the living space.
Kitchens include wood cabinets, and baths feature dual vanities and tile shower and tub surrounds.
Phillips says The Cove at Veridian has created a resort atmosphere, with walking paths, lush plantings and a community center. The facility includes a pool, grilling area, indoor spa, fitness center, yoga room and showers. It also has a kitchen and social area with seating and a flat-screen TV.
“Anyone can come out for a personal tour of our community amenities,” says Phillips, who adds that special pricing is being offered on some one-bedroom units. VA financing is also available.
