The superstar makeup artist takes a luxe collection to 29 Sephora stores starting Friday.
Over the past two years, renowned makeup artist Pat McGrath has launched a series of limited-edition makeup collections on her website — all of which have sold out almost instantly. There was the dipped-in-gold Metalmorphosis Kit, the Skin Fetish highlighter Kit, and the Lust Kit that paired a lipstick with microfine glitter (notably seen on Naomi Campbell).
Now she brings her refined and edgy products to a wider audience with a launch at 29 Sephora locations, including Bellevue Square (the only Washington state location), on Friday, Oct. 20. The lines is also available at sephora.com.
The Sephora collection includes three Mothership Eye Palettes ($125), five PermaGel UltraGlide Eye Pencils ($25), 12 PermaGel UltraGlide Lip Pencils ($25), 31 LuxeTrance Lipsticks ($38), nine MatteTrance Lipsticks ($38) and her Dark Star Mascara. Customers are encouraged to try out the luxe products in stores and, as McGrath encourages, “play, paint and provoke.”
“This makeup is dedicated to every beauty junkie, regardless of race, age, gender identity, nationality, religion and sexuality. I cannot wait for everyone to use without caution,” McGrath said in a statement.
