Universal Standard will hold a plus-size model search and show off its fashion-forward clothing at a series of pop-ups.
Seattle- and NYC-based clothing brand Universal Standard will be kicking off a 12 city tour in Seattle this weekend with pop-up events and a nationwide model search.
Universal Standard sells sleek, modern pieces in sizes 10–28, and offers free replacement of items from its core collection if you need a new size within a year of purchase.
Founders Polina Veksler and Alexandra Waldman will be at the events this weekend, which include:
• A pop-up at the downtown Seattle Nordstrom on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• An open house at the company’s Redmond showroom on Sunday at 4138 148th Avenue NE, Building H.
• A trunk show and model search at the Sole Repair event space, 1001 E Pike St. in Seattle, on Monday. The trunk show is from 1–7:30 p.m. and the model search will run from 1–4 p.m.
