A locally written tale of a half-goat, half-demon who is all excited about Christmas.

You’ve read “The Night Before Christmas” a thousand times. This holiday season, spice things up with “Goodnight Krampus.”

The children’s board book reimagines the nefarious half-goat, half-demon as a mischievous kid who’s simply too excited about Christmas to go to sleep. Santa has places to go and gifts to deliver, but first he has to get little Krampus to bed.

The charming illustrations and clever rhymes by twin brothers Derek Sullivan, a Seattle illustrator, and Kyle Sullivan, a Portland writer, make this hip book entertaining enough even for the grown-ups.
