LACEY — On Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Shea Homes at Jubilee will host a full schedule of events to mark the reopening of its private beach trail, as well as the community’s Tour de Cul-De-Sac.

“One of the many special features of Jubilee is the private-access beach trail down to the gorgeous Puget Sound,” says Mark Gray, area president for Shea Homes. “The community is excited to celebrate the much-anticipated grand reopening of the trail.”

At noon, a guided tour will be offered to the community’s private beach. The hike will be just over a half-mile each way, so guests are encouraged to wear appropriate footwear. Snacks and water will be provided.

Tours will also be available at six showcase homes in Whidbey Passage, the final neighborhood at Shea Homes at Jubilee. Located in a private cul-de-sac near the golf course, the homes are available for quick move-ins. The group includes two furnished model homes, which have features and upgrades that were selected by the builder’s design team.

“All the homes you’ll see on the tour are available for purchase, so if you fall in love with one, it can be yours,” Gray says. “What better gift to give yourself for the holidays?”

Homes on the Tour de Cul-De-Sac will include:

The Nice on Homesite 0029. The 1,921-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Nice was the winner of the Best Floorplan Award at this year’s Tour of Homes, presented by the Olympia Master Builders Association. One judge lauded its attention to quality and good taste, while others noted the architectural space and flow of the floor plan.

The Refresh on Homesite 0030. The 1,863-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The Refresh has an outdoor-centric floor plan, as well as a mission-style maple kitchen cabinetry, quartz and granite countertops and an enclosed den.

The Genova on Homesite 0033. The 2,176-square-foot home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Upgrades include a fireplace, engineered hardwood flooring and wrapped windows.

Each home on the tour will have a collection container for donations to the Thurston County Food Bank.

Located amid the natural beauty of Thurston County, Shea Homes at Jubilee is designed for homebuyers ages 55 and older. The social hub of the community is the 26,000-square-foot Lodge at Jubilee. It includes a fitness center, indoor pool, lounge, activity center, multipurpose ballroom, library and game room.

Next to the lodge is the Golf Club at Hawks Prairie.

“The homes of Jubilee are amazing, but there is so much more to life here in this incredible community of people,” Gray says. “There is the beautiful location near the Puget Sound that inspires you to get out, explore, and discover new passions with your neighbors. And there’s the social calendar filled with events and activities like outings, wine tasting and line dancing classes, and concerts.”
