ANACORTES — This weekend kicks off a series of winter holiday receptions at San Juan Passage, a view community located 2.5 miles from downtown Anacortes.
From 1–4 p.m. today and Sunday, visitors can sample seasonal treats and hot mulled cider or cocoa, and tour six model homes that range in size from 1,328 to 2,400 square feet.
“December is a festive time to visit San Juan Passage,” says Sandi Davidson, the community’s sales director. “On weekends from Dec. 5 through the New Year, visitors can explore the community, tour our model homes adorned with paintings and spectacular photography by local artists, then grab a warm beverage and head for the beach.
“These special winter receptions will feature newly completed models of some of our most enduring and beloved designs, as well
as the unveiling of a brand-new floor plan mid-month.”
Gilbane Development Company, the builder of San Juan Passage, has integrated four view-swept parks into the neighborhood, as well as a homeowner pavilion area with a pickleball court and stone firepit.
The community’s Overlook Trail offers convenient access to the beach.
Among the featured floor plans this weekend is the Reid Harbor, which according to Davidson represents “the epitome of classic coastal architecture.”
“[The Reid Harbor] is designed to capture a special blend of Nantucket charm and Northwest style,” she says. “Since its unveiling as our original model and sales center, the Reid Harbor has remained the quintessential San Juan Passage home design.”
