MERCER ISLAND — Those interested in building a custom home — or buying one now — can tour the models in the Eastside Collection by JayMarc Homes.

“With a lack of inventory on the market right now, we are getting a lot of interest from clients wanting to build a custom home,” says Marc Rousso, the founder of JayMarc Homes. “We are committed to quality built-to-last homes, and are excited about being able to help people in Mercer Island, Bellevue, Kirkland, Seattle and elsewhere take steps toward building the perfect home for their families.”

JayMarc hosts free monthly Custom Homebuilding 101 seminars. The next one will take place on Aug. 27 at one of the builder’s model homes. Topics such as choosing the correct lot, working with an architect, setting budget expectations and potential challenges in the process will be covered.

The newest addition to the builder’s Eastside Collection is the Mozart, debuting this weekend at 6506 S.E. 28th St., Mercer Island. Built as part of the unique Symphony Collection project, the home’s exterior is inspired by the landmark Symphony House next door.

The Mozart features rounded arches, oversize porches and views from the master bedroom. The kitchen and dining space extends onto a covered patio with finished cedar and lighting. The 4,111-square-foot home is available for purchase for $2.699 million.

Also part of the Eastside Collection is the Palermo B at 3238 112th Ave. S.E., Bellevue. The 3,834-square-foot model home features a staircase in the center of the home, a chef’s gourmet kitchen with JayMarc’s standard Wolf and Subzero appliances, and an open layout that includes oversize windows, high ceilings and a manicured garden. It is available for purchase for $2.29 million.
