BELLEVUE — Those interested in building a custom home can learn about the process at a free seminar on April 23 at 10 a.m.
Presented by JayMarc Homes, the seminar will cover topics such as choosing the correct lot, working with an architect and setting budget expectations. Members of the builder’s custom sales team will be on hand to answer questions and give feedback and advice.
“With the lack of inventory on the market right now, we are getting a lot of interest from clients wanting us to build them a custom home on their own lot,” says Marc Rousso, the founder of JayMarc Homes. “From Seattle to Kirkland and well beyond, we are finding that many families don’t want to change their kids’ schools. They love their neighborhood, but are needing more space. We are excited about being able to help them build the perfect home for their families.”
Those interested in attending the seminar are asked to RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Finished and staged JayMarc models are open daily to help potential clients get a feel for what to expect from a custom home. Among them is the Monza, located at 10647 S.E. 20th St. on a corner lot in West Bellevue.
Aimee Upper, JayMarc Homes’ interior designer, says the Monza “showcases Pacific Northwest Contemporary design at its finest. Walk inside and you will be blown away by the gorgeous two-story foyer and unique open-dining-room concept that displays JayMarc Homes’ signature elevation, and is perfect for families who like to entertain.”
Another JayMarc model home is located at 10016 N.E. 28th Place. It features the award-winning Bodrum B floor plan, which includes a second master bedroom on the main floor, as well as built-in bookshelves surrounding the great room fireplace. This feature continues upstairs in the hall landing.
“We’ve carefully hand-selected the finishes and details of every home,” Upper says. “No two homes are ever exactly alike.”
