Often during the winter months, the housing market slows down and available inventory can become minimal. For those looking to move to the Bellevue or Mercer Island communities soon, JayMarc Homes has several homes due for completion in December.
Opening on Dec. 10 in Mercer Island is a home with the builder’s San Marino design. Offering just shy of 6,000 square feet of living space that blends traditional elegance and contemporary flair, the home has ample space for large families with master bedrooms on both the main and upper levels.
The home is located at 2774 70th Ave. S.E. and is priced at $3.5 million.
Marc Rousso, the founder of JayMarc Homes, says more people are considering staying where they are and tearing down their current home to build a new one that fits their families’ needs.
“With a lack of inventory on the market right now, we are getting a lot of interest from clients wanting to purchase a presale home or build a custom home,” he says.
JayMarc hosts free custom homebuilding seminars each month at one of the builder’s staged homes. Topics that are covered include choosing property, working with an architect, permitting, financing, setting budget expectations and potential challenges in the process.
The December seminar will take place at the San Marino home in Mercer Island on Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. For more information or to reserve seats, contact Adrienne Buxbaum at email@example.com.
New JayMarc homes are coming to the Bellevue area as well.
A home with the modern Copenhagen design is expected to be complete in mid-December at 9232 N.E. First St. and priced at $3.6 million. The Craftsman-style Whistler design will be located at 827 104th Ave. S.E. and priced at $1.85 million.
