JayMarc Homes offers free estimates to clients who are working on plans with an architect, and also hosts free, monthly Custom Homebuilding 101 seminars.
BELLEVUE — JayMarc Homes invites those interested in building a custom home — or buying one now — to tour its collection of model homes.
“With a lack of inventory on the market right now, we are getting a lot of interest from clients wanting to build a custom home,” says Marc Rousso, the founder of JayMarc Homes.
He says energy codes are changing on July 1, and he urges those with finished plans to pursue permitting before that date. JayMarc offers free estimates to those with plans and can help with permitting, he says.
JayMarc also hosts free, monthly Custom Homebuilding 101 seminars. Each takes place in one of the builder’s model homes and covers topics such as choosing the correct lot, working with an architect, setting budget expectations and potential challenges in the process.
For those further along in the process, JayMarc offers free estimates to clients who are working on plans with an architect.
“We believe in giving our clients a fixed price,” Rousso says. “It’s important to us that clients know what the costs are and that we are going to stick by them. Customer service is extremely important to us. When I built my first house, the costs got out of control with my builder, so when I began JayMarc Homes, I wanted to do things differently.”
He says this effort led to JayMarc Homes winning a Best Customer Service award this year from the home remodeling and design website Houzz award.

The newest additions to the builder’s model home collection include the La Belle Maison, located at 9002 Lake Washington Blvd. N.E. in Bellevue, and the Paris, at 1323 104th Ave. S.E. in Bellevue.
The 6,322-square-foot La Belle Maison model home includes a covered front porch that overlooks Lake Washington; a chef’s kitchen with two dishwashers; a master suite on each floor; a media room with mini fridge; and a covered patio with an outdoor kitchen. It is available for purchase for $3.799 million.
The Paris boasts 5,358 square feet of living space that includes a two-story great room. There is a rear garage entrance from the private street. It’s priced at $2.699 million.
“Finished and staged, JayMarc’s model homes are open daily for potential clients to get a feel for what to expect from a custom home,” Rousso says.
