BELLEVUE — JayMarc Homes is collaborating with 425 magazine to present this year’s Northwest Idea House, located at Whaler’s Cove Bay.

The custom-tailored home at 9803 S.E. Shoreland Drive, Bellevue, will be open for public tours from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 16–17.

Every year, 425 magazine pairs with a local builder to create a home that focuses on creative design and technology.

“Our team was thrilled to be a part of the 2017 Northwest Idea House,” says Marc Rousso, the president of JayMarc Homes, which he says is known for its craftsmanship, design aesthetic and customer service. “We were excited by the opportunity to present a fresh perspective that was different from our signature look to showcase our custom-home capabilities.

“A refined, edgy elegance protrudes from every crevice,” he says. “Custom-made cement fixtures are purposefully sprinkled throughout, a lavish elevator is available to assist traveling up and down the three-story home, heated floors greet you as you enter the home from the finished garage and the latest in smart-home technology is accessible in every room.”

For those who are inspired by the tour, JayMarc will be hosting its monthly custom-homebuilding seminar on Sept. 20 at the Northwest Idea House. Brenda Gage, JayMarc’s director of sales, will explain the custom-homebuilding process from beginning to end, and discuss finding buildable land, financing, permitting, working with an architect, interior-design selections and common mistakes to avoid.

“Our team knows how to make what seems like a daunting and tedious task a memorable and enjoyable experience,” she says. “The seminar is a great starting point and educational experience for anyone who is thinking about partaking in the custom-home journey.”
