CARNATION — Closer than most homebuyers expect, and far more peaceful than many are used to, Brook Tree Estates introduces the first of its 20 contemporary selections this month in a serene Snoqualmie Valley setting that invites you to slow down.

Really slow down. Right now.

After a deep breath of fresh air and a pause to listen to nothing but nature, RE/MAX representative Trena Kupper says it becomes clear: Brook Tree Estates is quiet enough to hear morning birds trill — yet close enough to zip to work at Microsoft’s Redmond campus, hop onto Interstate 90 in under 10 minutes, or dine with friends in Bellevue.

She says living at Brook Tree Estates is today’s definition of simplicity and modern innovation.

“Hultquist Homes [the community’s builder] knows that buyers have busy schedules all week long,” says Kupper. “When they come home to Brook Tree Estates, they want to relax, turn on the fireplace at night, and reward themselves with a life they’ve dreamed of.”

These dreams start with the first four single-family plans debuting this month, including four- and five-bedroom selections with 3.5 baths and two- or three-car garages. Brook Tree Estates’ two-level designs range in size from 2,800 to more than 3,300 square feet.

The largest is the Willamette. Not only does the design feature a private master retreat on the upper level, but it also offers a “mini-master” with a full bath on the main.

Intentionally arranged for privacy at the home’s rear corner, this second master “is an irresistible choice for families with a visiting grandparent or nanny,” says Kupper. It also offers buyers optional flexibility to modify this space, pairing a slightly smaller sleeping area with an en suite bath, and then creating an attractive sitting area or den, complete with a kitchenette-style refrigerator, sink and microwave.

“Hultquist has designed massive great rooms that are so comfortable and open, with windows that are perfectly placed to capture natural light,” she says. “Plus, they’ve tricked out home automation, multi-room audio and high-tech networking wiring features that make these smart homes. Just wait until you see the Legrande tech lighting system.”

Innovation and style like this blend seamlessly throughout each Brook Tree Estates home, she adds.

In the Willamette, the gas fireplace is crowned by custom stone accents and mantel. The room weaves into the dining area, just steps from the covered rear patio. A kitchen island features a custom Shaker-style maple cabinets; stainless steel appliances, including an Italian Bertazzoni range and hood vent; and quartz countertops with full-height subway- and mosaic-deco tile backsplash.

“On top of this, people who love to cook are really going to appreciate our large pantries. You need that space if you have two KitchenAids or a big Cuisinart,” says Kupper.

“Another thing that Hultquist did, just for parents, is to pay careful attention to a mud room,” she adds. “When you come into the home through the garage, we make sure you have a convenient bench upon entry. It’s the best way to deal with kids and their muddy shoes. Upstairs, meanwhile, the utility/laundry room offers both upper and lower cabinets, plus a utility sink.

“We know our buyers have active lifestyles. That means they have a lot of stuff and it needs to go somewhere. That’s what all these extra Hultquist touches are for,” Kupper adds.

Upstairs, the master retreat is enhanced with a designer five-piece bath suite with Huntwood cabinets, quartz counters, tile flooring, a free-standing spa tub and two walk-in closets.

Secondary bedrooms are down the hall, past an easy-access laundry room, and separated from the master by a flexible-use leisure loft.

At Brook Tree Estates, says Kupper, Hultquist Homes is delivering the new construction and craftsmanship that buyers are searching for at a price-point and location that will reward them. The natural setting is Brook Tree Estates’ unique bonus, she adds.

Today’s homebuyers “listen to noise all day at work,” says Kupper. “Here, all they hear is, maybe, a gentle breeze. Our covered patios offer homeowners privacy, serenity, looking out on their fully fenced, fully landscaped rear yard, with air that’s as fresh and natural as the nearby Cascade Mountains.”
