BELLEVUE — During the grand opening of Avid Townhomes on Oct. 7–8, homebuyers can view two completed and furnished model homes and tour the first release of homes available for purchase.
“The seller has intentionally set the prices in this first release of homes significantly below the market value and below any other new townhomes in the area,” says Sharon Gentry, the community sales manage. “Buyers in the first release will be able to secure some of the best values in the community.”
Avid is located in Bellevue’s emerging Spring District at the corner of Bel-Red Road and 140th Avenue Northeast.
“We’re less than 3 miles from all that downtown Bellevue has to offer: premier shopping, dining from around the world, entertainment and the arts,” Gentry says. “Avid’s easy access to commuter routes and close proximity to major employers make it an ideal Eastside location.”
Homes at Avid range in size from 1,504 to 2,048 square feet, with three to five bedrooms and two-car attached garages. Great-room designs offer open kitchen/dining/living rooms. Master bedrooms include volume ceilings, walk-in closets and four-piece bathrooms en suite.
Gentry says, “These homes are unlike anything Bellevue has seen before.” Designed by local architects Freiheit & Ho, the floor plans are “a step above the rest,” she says.

A limited number of homes will be available for purchase during the first release of Avid Townhomes.
“We have over 330 people on the interest list who have been anxiously waiting for us to open,” Gentry says. “People are really excited to see our finished models, and to learn that we will also have finished homes available for purchase. Buyers won’t have to wait months or years; they can move into their new home in as little as 30 days.”
She says both owner-occupant buyers and investors will be able to purchase homes in the first release, “so this is a very rare chance for investors to purchase a new townhome in Bellevue.”
