A 47-year-old man was shot and killed in downtown Seattle early Sunday, following an argument, according to Seattle police.

Police say two men were arguing shortly after 2 a.m. at Fifth Avenue and Olive Way when, according to witnesses, one man pulled out a gun and shot the other man. When police arrived they found the 47-year-old man dead.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male with short hair who appeared to be in his early 20s. He is 5-feet-11-inches to 6-feet tall, has a thin build and was wearing a red sweatshirt and jeans, according to police.

Police ask anyone with information to call 911.
