VANCOUVER, B.C. — Nick Allen became the Northwest League’s first four-game winner as the Everett AquaSox snapped Vancouver’s seven-game winning streak with a 7-5 baseball victory last night.


Allen (4-0), a right-hander from Villanova, allowed eight hits and two earned runs in six innings.


Right fielder Alex Gary went 2 for 4 with three runs batted in for Everett, including a two-run double in the top of the second. Bryan Sabatella, Jeff Flaig, Casey Craig and Reed Eastley also had two hits each for the AquaSox (12-11), who are tied for second place in the West Division behind the Canadians (17-6).
