ST. FLORIAN, Ala. (AP) — Authorities have identified the victims of a single-vehicle accident that killed three teenagers and injured two others in northwestern Alabama.
St. Florian Police Chief Jason Brewer tells WAAY-TV that 17-year-old Branden Turner and two 16-year-olds, Tyler Nelson and Colby Hines, died in the crash. All three attended Wilson High School in Lauderdale County.
Two teenage girls who attend Florence High School were hospitalized following the wreck.
State troopers and St. Florian police are investigating the wreck, which happened Thursday night.
