FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) — Authorities are seeking a man after his wife was set on fire.
The Island Packet reported Wednesday that the Florence County Sheriff’s Office has issued an arrest warrant for 32-year-old Charles Durell Nethercutt. Nethercutt is charged with attempted murder after his wife was hospitalized with severe burns on Sept. 19.
Nethercutt is accused of pouring gasoline on her and setting her on fire. The sheriff’s office news release says she suffered severe burns over a large portion of her body. Her current condition is unknown.
