FINLEYVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Firefighters had a rescue a police officer who became trapped by rising floodwaters in western Pennsylvania.
The officer, who is from Monongahela, was patrolling nearby Union when his vehicle got trapped at Courtney Hill and Patterson roads early Thursday.
A Washington County Emergency Services Center supervisor tells the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette heavy rain had flooded ten roads.
The officer was not hurt.
