DETROIT (AP) — Authorities say a Detroit restaurant worker has been arrested after shooting and wounding a customer following an argument.

The shooting happened Sunday afternoon. The Detroit News reports Deputy Chief Todd Bettison says it appears the worker shot the customer in the leg after he left the restaurant. The Detroit Free Press reports three shots were fired from a rear door of the restaurant.

Bettison says the customer ran about a half-block before collapsing. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition and Bettison says the man “lost quite a lot of blood.”

Details about the argument weren’t immediately released.

Police Chief James Craig said Sunday the shooting “really concerns me,” following the fatal shooting of a gas station customer a week earlier. A clerk is charged in that shooting.
