The search restarted December 21 for at least 74 people still missing after a boat sank off Indonesia’s Sulawesi island at the weekend. At least 41 people have been found alive and three others died after the accident in Bone Bay on December 19, a police spokesman in South Sulawesi province said. The search intensified for more than 91 people missing in southern China after a massive landslide buried around three dozen buildings in the city of Shenzhen. The number of rescue workers was boosted by around 1,200 to just over 2,900, the Xinhua news agency reported. Another 78 excavators arrived to help dig through 380,000 square meters of silt up to 10 meters deep, the deputy mayor of Shenzhen, told a press conference on December 21.
