PHILADELPHIA (AP) — The Philadelphia Orchestra will be touring Europe in late May and in June will be making only their second trip to Israel.
The orchestra, which also toured Europe in 2015, will mark debut performances at the Philharmonie de Paris and the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. Other cities on the tour include Brussels, Luxembourg City, Düsseldorf, and Vienna.
In Israel, the June 3 performance in Haifa, June 4 performance in Tel Aviv and June 5 performance in Jerusalem coincide with the country’s 70th anniversary.
The June 1 concert in Vienna and the performances in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem will be simulcast to the United States.
