CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed 483 drug overdose deaths for 2017, two fewer than the year before.

More than 350 deaths were linked to fentanyl. Only person overdosed from heroin alone.

New Hampshire Public Radio reports the medical examiner’s office is still waiting for toxicology results on six cases from 2017.

State officials say 40 people have died from drug overdoses this year, and 34 of them involved fentanyl. Another 86 cases are still under review.
