NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Police Department says a man was fatally stabbed inside of a luxury apartment building on Staten Island that has 24-hour security.
Officers remained on the scene Thursday following the early morning stabbing. The NYPD says the 42-year-old victim was stabbed six times inside a third-floor unit, and was rushed to an area hospital where he died.
Authorities have not recovered a weapon and have not made any arrests in the case. The victim’s identity has not been released.
Investigators say the victim did not live in the apartment and believe the stabbing was related to some sort of argument.
