LUMBERTON, N.J. (AP) — A fight outside a southern New Jersey home ended with a New York City man fatally stabbed and another man seriously injured.
Burlington County prosecutors say the victims were found around 10:40 p.m. Sunday when police responded to the home in Lumberton. But they declined further comment on the brawl, saying the circumstances surrounding the fight are still under investigation.
Both men were taken to a hospital.
Authorities say 26-year-old Moriah Walker, of Brooklyn, was pronounced dead there a few hours later, while a 23-year-old man injured in the brawl underwent surgery for a stab wound and is listed in critical but stable condition.
