LAS VEGAS (AP) — Southern Nevada officials are cataloguing stuffed animals, cards, photos and other items left at a memorial honoring the victims of the October mass shooting in Las Vegas.

Clark County Museum officials in November moved items left as a tribute to victims of the Route 91 concert from the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign on the Strip to a museum.

The Las Vegas Sun reports officials are in the process of cataloging 15,000 to 20,000 artifacts left at the sign and at other memorials.

Museum workers are uploading photos of catalogued items to the county museum’s website and are asking those who left items to fill out an online form explaining why they left it.

Museum officials are also receiving advice from historians who helped curate memorials to victims of other mass shootings like the 2016 Orlando nightclub shooting.
