GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Police in Glendale say they are searching for a suspect in a homicide case.

They say 44-year-old Rose Watford suffered a stab wound and other physical injuries and died at a hospital Monday before police could interview her.

Investigators say Watford allegedly was assaulted and stabbed by 39-year-old William Bradfield, who was an acquaintance of the woman.

Police say Watford was seen with Bradfield on Sunday morning in his vehicle.

They say probable cause has been established for Bradfield’s arrest.
