RESTON, Va. (AP) — Police say that DNA evidence has led to the arrest of a Florida man who now stands accused of sexually assaulting four women in a northern Virginia apartment more than 20 years ago.
Fairfax County Police on Monday announced charges against 49-year-old Jude J.D. Lovchik of Ocala, Florida. Lovchik had lived in northern Virginia up until last month.
He is currently being held on a fugitive charge but will face charges including armed burglary, abduction with intent to defile and sodomy after he is extradited to Virginia.
The case goes back to June 1995, when police say four women were assaulted in an apartment in Reston.
