BOSTON (AP) — A federal grand jury has indicted a Massachusetts man accused of putting pipe bomb-like devices on high-voltage power lines.
The Sun reports (http://bit.ly/1OcJwkt ) 61-year-old Danny Kelly, of Chelmsford, was indicted Tuesday on a charge of malicious destruction of property by fire.
He has been held without bail since his arrest in April, which came after firefighters responded to a brush fire near National Grid electric power lines in Tyngsborough.
Authorities say they found metallic, cylindrical devices hanging from the power lines. They say Kelly left a note saying he is going to war and threatening attacks on critical infrastructure.
