COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — South Carolina’s former Democratic Party chairman is again reaching across the aisle.
Jaime Harrison tells The Associated Press he and former GOP staffer Amos Snead are writing a book on what it takes to build a Capitol Hill career.
Harrison says “Climbing the Hill: How to Build a Career in Government and Make a Difference” is being published by Ten Speed Press/Penguin Random House, an imprint of the Crown Publishing Group.
Harrison is writing the book with Amos Snead, founding member of S-3 Public Affairs and spokesman for former House Republican Whip Roy Blunt.
