EDGEMONT, S.D. (AP) — An Edgemont home that was built around 1900 has been listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
The Register is the federal government’s list of properties it considers worthy of preservation and recognition.
The Arthur and Ellen Colgan House in Edgemont was listed for its architectural significance. The South Dakota State Historical Society says the home’s look represents a transition between the Queen Anne and Colonial Revival styles.
