LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Little Rock Central High School is among the “Top 10” sites of importance on a U.S. Civil Rights Trail with more than 100 historic landmarks in 14 states. The announcement that six Little Rock sites are on the trail was made at the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site Visitor Center in conjunction with the Martin Luther King Jr. Day federal holiday. JONESBORO, Ark. — City officials plan to increase recycling efforts throughout Jonesboro, including apartment communities, and at least one landlord is enthusiastic about it. The new collection system will begin July 2. The recycling service is provided at no charge. However, for the first time, residents who choose to participate must purchase blue 65-gallon recycling bins that are similar to the green, 95-gallon bins used for garbage.
