DAVENPORT, Iowa (AP) — Authorities have identified a man whose body was found floating in the Mississippi River in Davenport.
Authorities say the body found by a fisherman just before 11 a.m. Wednesday near the Credit Island causeway has been identified as 60-year-old Timothy Maxwell, of Bettendorf.
Police say Maxwell fell into the river Saturday while working on a boat upriver near the Lake Davenport Sailing Club.
An autopsy was conducted Thursday. Police say no foul play is suspected.
