PINON, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities are investigating two unrelated shootings in the small Navajo Nation community of Pinon.

The FBI says two adult males were shot Monday — one in the chest and the other in the foot. Both were taken to a hospital and are expected to survive.

Navajo Nation authorities took one suspect into custody in one of the shootings.

The FBI also is investigating. It released no other details Tuesday.
