Police investigate death of person found near Goodwill store

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — Police are investigating the death of a person found dead outside a Portland Goodwill store.

The Oregonian/OregonLive reports Portland police responded around 10:45 a.m. Friday to the store along Northeast Halsey Street and found the person not breathing and unconscious.

Police say the person was pronounced dead at the scene, and the death appears suspicious.

The identity of the person has not been released.
