NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — A Connecticut man has been sentenced to three years in federal prison for distributing crack.

Prosecutors say 30-year-old Jason Walker of Ansonia has been sentenced by U.S. District Judge Jeffrey A. Meyer on Tuesday to three years of imprisonment and five years of supervised release for distributing the drug.

Walker and two other men were members of a drug trafficking organization that trafficked cocaine throughout the Naugatuck Valley. In 2017, Drug Enforcement Administration investigators made purchases of crack from Walker and others. He was arrested in November. In March, he pleaded guilty, along with the other two men involved.
