MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say five homeless people who told them they were looking for a warm place to stay have been accused of trespassing at a closed business.

Police in Manchester say a passer-buy witnessed the group entering the business through a window on Monday night. Officers used a PA system to call them out. Three came out and police found two others laying on the floor in a back room.

The four men and one woman ranged in age from 24 to 52. Two also were charged with resisting arrest. One was held without bail. It wasn’t known if they had lawyers.
