BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — Two Vermont men accused of using BB guns to vandalize hundreds of cars in the city of Burlington have been arrested.

WCAX-TV reports 24-year-old William Bowler, of Swanton, and 30-year-old Alexander Charbonneau, of Burlington, face multiple charges of unlawful mischief.

Burlington police say Charbonneau had multiple weapons in his possession and in his pickup truck when both men were arrested Wednesday. Police say the pair damaged over 200 vehicles during a two-year period.

The men were making their initial court appearances on Thursday. It was unclear if they’d retained attorneys to represent them.
