Seattle publisher’s coloring book doubles as visitor guide.
Coloring books aren’t just for kids anymore. Anybody can add fun to a trip south with “Colorful Portland: Explore & Color,” which doubles as a guide to 31 of the Hipster City’s attractions, from Oaks Park to Voodoo Doughnut. Once there, break out crayons or pencils and replicate the local color. A map pinpoints each spot and an index tells a bit of the site’s history and lore. Published in Seattle, the book joins companion volumes on Seattle and Tokyo (colorfulcities.com, 2016; $14.95).
