Readers happy about pastel painted houses, upset with texting driver
RAVE For the three houses in a row in North Seattle. They are each painted a different shade of lovely pastel: blue, lavender, green. I love the colors and whimsy. I drive by them several times a week and they make me happy every time! Hooray for beauty wherever we can make it.
RANT For our neighbor, whose mini van is plastered with “Baby on Board” signs, who nonetheless speeds down our Shoreline street like clockwork twice daily, texting like crazy. Of the dozens of times I’ve witnessed her speeding, she has never once been off of her phone, usually with two or three young children inside the vehicle. Is the irony really lost on these people?
