The rides move around the grounds from place to place but have been essentially the same each year. So I look for different aspects and points of view from my past efforts. Here’s a look I have not captured before.” Critique: “This long exposure of lights from a fair ride really works because the clean background makes the colors pop. The blur created by the shutter being open for 2.5 seconds contributes a nice sense of motion and contrasts with the static foreground’s neon colors.” Past picks for Reader’s Lens are displayed in the gallery below.
