Photo taken: Feb. 28, 2019, on the ferry in Kingston

Photographer’s description: “Those rare occasions where the ferry isn’t full offers so many beautiful mixes of light, shadow and metal. This one struck me as one of those shadows lined up so smartly with the deck striping. Captured with a Canon 6D & Canon 24-105mm.”

Critique: “The ferries often offer opportunities to make nice images in nice light. This image breaks away from the norm of portraits and landscapes to showcase the man-made lines and a side of the ferry we don’t often see. Nice eye for the beauty in an empty ferry.”
