Seattle Times reader Carole Patterson’s photo of her dog getting a gander at Skagit Valley flower fields.
Photographer: Carole Patterson, of Silverdale
Photo taken: March 29, near Mount Vernon
Photographer’s description: “Driving through the Skagit Valley tulip/daffodil fields when my little dog Elle Jo decided she wanted to see what we were oooing and ahhing about.”
Critique: “What a fun moment on what looks like a muddy day visiting the daffodil fields in Skagit County. A moment like this has to be captured quickly, which can explain the tilted horizon, which I’d try straightening out to make the image flow even better.”
