Seattle Times reader Billie Bouvier captures a beloved city park from a new angle.

Photo taken: Oct. 19, 2018 at Golden Gardens Park in Ballard
Photographer’s description: “I went for a walk down at Golden Gardens and came into a foggy area near the north side of the park. The sun was starting to go down in the west and was peeking through a small grouping of thin trees and so with the combination of fog, distant trees and the fallen leaves in the foreground I was awed and had to take a few photos. My camera is a Canon 7D and the lens I used is a 18-135 f3.5.“
Critique: “The foggy sunset light combined with pops of color really drew me into this photo of the Seattle park. The silhouetted trees along with the grass and leaves nicely frame a popular subject at Golden Gardens.”
