RAVE to the diligent workers of Seattle Public Utilities who thought ahead and did preventive maintenance on storm drains and ditches on 26th Avenue Southwest & Southwest Juneau Street. We have had almost 3 inches of rain since this “rain event” started, and for the first time in 14 years, during a mega-storm, our street isn’t flooded and the storm drains are doing what they are supposed to. Thank you also to the neighbors out scraping leaves away from their drains. Stay safe, Seattle!
RANT to the city of Seattle for those unreadable temporary “No Parking” signs on streets where road work is occurring. Many of them are scribbled with a barely visible marker and are hard to read even if you stop and get out of your car to see what they say. The notices need to be done in bold dark print so drivers can see them!
