Rant and Rave: Reader thankful to vet for compassion during difficult time

RAVE to our vet and his staff for helping us make the difficult decision to put our beloved cat Alice to sleep when her time had come at the age of 18. The compassion shown during this heartbreaking experience was much appreciated. This happens dozens of times a day in the Seattle metro area alone and the many caring veterinary staffs helping us through these tough times are owed our heartfelt thanks.

RANT to a swim suit store with the worst service ever. I had not bought a suit for years but needed one for a trip to Mexico. I tried on a variety of styles, but when I asked for a different size, the employee was rude and said she was tired of my nonsense. I was only there for half an hour. Very perplexing that she did not have time for “nonsense” from customers.
