RAVE to an Amazon delivery driver for their kindness. I injured my ankle while walking my dog. There was no one around, I didn’t have a cellphone and I couldn’t walk. I flagged down the truck and told the driver my dilemma. Their response was, “You picked the right person. Come on in and I will drive you home.“ I was touched by an angel!
RANT to people who “pay it forward” by anonymously paying others’ tabs at restaurants. There are people in need, and they are not the other diners at the restaurant. If you want to do something meaningful, donate that extra money to people who are actually experiencing food insecurity. It comes off as lazy and self-assuring.
RAVE to Caitlin at the Target on Second for providing excellent customer service. It’s nice to have problems taken care of promptly and with no fuss.
