RANT to the city for not maintaining the plantings along the Burke-Gilman Trail in our neighborhood from the Locks out to Golden Gardens. Blackberries and weeds are ridiculously high along the planting strip and it’s very difficult to exit the driveways out onto the road without the chance of hitting an oncoming car. The plantings are unsightly, out of control and dangerous!
RAVE to the city of Seattle’s Find It, Fix It app! I reported concerns at the Northeast 66th Street/Brooklyn Avenue Northeast intersection regarding vehicles parked here and blocking the curb ramps and requested additional “no parking” signage. The city responded promptly by installing “no parking” signage here as requested. I walk through this area several times per week and haven’t seen any illegally parked vehicles since the “no parking” signage was installed. Thanks for responding promptly to my Find It, Fix It app request!
