RAVE to the strangers who converse with me as we ride the elevators up and down our condo residence together. At 94 years and counting, it always pleases me.

RANT to the person who slowed down and waved at me while I was running on the Burke-Gilman Trail in Ballard. What you did wasn’t cute or friendly. Nor was it a compliment. It’s harassment. Please stop.

RANT to purveyors of all kinds of products that take those itty-bitty batteries. The thing is great until the batteries run out. Good luck trying to figure out exactly what the batteries are and finding any place that sells them.

RAVE to the thoughtful people at Samena Swim & Recreation Club in Bellevue who went out of their way to assist a senior jogger on the Lake to Lake Trail who had become lightheaded and nearly fainted on the trail. Your assistance was much appreciated.
