RAVE to King County Metro customer service and a thoughtful driver! As the #8 bus pulled away, I realized I had left my very special bag behind. The customer service person who answered my call tracked down the bus and told me when it would return to my stop. When I met the bus at the time she indicated, the driver handed me my bag with a big smile. Thank you!
RANT to employers who ask for “two years’ experience” in the fields for which they’re asking candidates to apply. Essentially, they’re poaching people other employers have trained. Invest in identifying good people and train them yourself!
RANT AND RAVE Rave to the commuters using rental scooters and bikes who park them safely. Rant to the few who force me, at age 85, to drag them off the sidewalks they block so my friend in a power chair can pass. Please, please consider people with wheelchairs, walkers and strollers.
